Please keep in mind that a Zoo ticket/membership does not grant you access to Zoombezi Bay since entry is separate. Zoombezi Bay, a water park linked to the Zoo, is owned and operated by the Zoo. Discovery Reef is located on the west side of the Zoo, just to the right after visitors pass through the tunnel. The best part about the Columbus Zoo is that there is no extra charge for the aquarium called Discovery Reef. Wagons and strollers are allowed at the Zoo - just make sure you follow stroller parking signs in the designated areas.

Throughout the park, there are nursing stations and family toilets. Make sure to obtain a hand stamp on your way out though, otherwise you will not be allowed back into the park. Re-entry is allowed, but you must exit and re-enter the park on the same day. Please keep in mind that transportation is not provided once you enter the Zoo, so we suggest that you wear comfortable shoes that are made for walking! Wheelchairs, electric scooters, and strollers can be rented if you'd like any of those but supply is limited. Guest Relations is where you can get your hands on some Creature Cash. Creature Cash can be used in any location in the Zoo, as well as Zoombezi Bay. The Zoo takes credit cards and cash, and also has their own currency called Creature Cash. Guests of the Columbus Zoo are welcome to bring food and drinks, but straws and alcohol are not permitted.
